I have a 93 Northstar and have found my hot start problem thanks to this board. I removed the cover on the top of the engine and located a leaky FPR. I pulled up on the plastic piece that holds the injectors, FPR and fuel line to expose the FPR, but can not figure out how to unlock the FPR from the plastic holder. Also how do you remove the plastic fuel line from the FPR? Did not want to force anything and break the plastic.

I am not real familiar with the '93 but, I think it is basicly the same as the others. If so, there should be a large "U" clip that holds the FPR in place. After releiving fuel pressure, just pull the clip and the FPR should just lift out. You should not have to disconnect any lines. Go to the Tech Tips section and loof for the post on "How To Check For a Faulty FPR". Though the pics there are for a '95+, the mechanics should be the same I think.
