Hey folks
Anyone know of any good tab web pages. I'm teaching my son guitar, and want to print out some basic chords.
Thanks

www.guitartabs.cc is a pretty good site

It's getting hard to find good tab sites now because for some reason they want to take tabs off the internet.

edited the link, should work now

.cc and .com are two different websites

Just out of curiosity, what's everyones main guitar? Mine is an '03 Epiphone Les Paul Standard in Heritage Cherry Sunburst. I almost picked up an LP Custom Plus the other day, but instead decided i'll use some of that money to get HIDs for my SLS.

I usually just type someting like "sweet child tab" into Google and it'll gimme a couple of sites.
I use different spots for different songs so Google is my portal.
The easiest way to learn I think is to figure out what song your son really likes and kinda knows already (ie can sing along with it) then try and play it on the guitar. Its a great skill. Good luck!

Mine's a custom Hammond B3.....

And I have a bad case of organ envy. :histeric:

Here's a good tab site:

Country is easy--only three chords!

REM! Good stuff and great to learn on.

Guild!! One of my all time favorites!! Ibanez is great too, thin necks easy to play.....
My current favorite axe is an Ovation Standard Balladeer. (amazing, super easy to play well)
I started on my 45 Fender Stratocaster. (tougher to play)

I also recently picked up a 1965 Ventura Fretless Semihollow Bass, talk about tough to play.....impossible.

Hey Powerglide
True, they do have thin necks. My Guild is the easiest guitar I,ve ever played
(accoustic). I had a little trouble with the strats too. I learned on a Yamaha classical guitar and then move to a Telecaster. Wish I still had that Tele.
