I was just thinking of another thing we could do to make this place a little better..... We could have a "ride of the month" section, where people send in a few pictures and an article about the car describing it..... It could be placed at the top of the page where everyone could see it (a link to the page that is)....

I envision that it will be sent to a team member (most likely myself) and the team will vote on it, and the best ride will become that months featured ride........

Sure to make it fair though put sal's ride as the featured ride for January and then vote on Feb.

Yeah i posted this idea a couple weeks ago, but hey i aint mad....we had a disagreement as i thought cars of the month should primarily be cars that have been modded, and classic cars that have been rebuilt or are in really great shape while other people wanted stock 1992 dts's to be cars of the month.....i dunno what they were thinking but that was the argument.

That sounds good.....

I think the "team" should include whoever wants to be on it, or if you won't go for that at least keep a lot of people on it.

I also think the restored/modded vs stock argument is pointless, if all cars are candidates and the voters like the restored/modded ones then so be it and that car gets it, if the voters like the stock one then so be it and that car gets it.

IMO a car that is applicable is a car that stands out in some way from the pack, wether it be from good condition, modifications, or something else......

I could see us giving a car of the month honor to someone who has really helped the site out for instance.....but i cant see a stock car winning on the car's merits alone.
