Has anyone else found the rear hatch difficult to open with the key fob control? It seems to open well some times and other times it just seems like the key fobs are not working. The manual does not say if it needs one or two hits on the button but it seems like one hit does not work for me. While I am on the topic, why is there no button on the interior to activate the hatch? Dan.

I have no difficulty with my '06 hatch button. I think they don't have a hatch button on the interior to help guard against children inadvertently acitivating it. The placement of the button on the interior jamb of the hatch is a good one - my 12 year-old can reach it, but my 8 year-old cannot.
