Three years this Friday and still going strong! Let me be the first to thank you Sal for sticking it through and making this place what it is, the #1 Cadillac Enthusiast site on the internet!

I'll third it (appropriate since this is the third anniversary). Thanks Sal, and all the members who make this site so useful, interesting and fun.

Damn, has it REALLY been that long? Wow! Sal, did you ever think it would get this big? Congrats. You deserve it especially considering all the baby-sitting you've had to do. ;)

Congrats. I've only been here for a year of it, but it's been a lot of fun and a lot of help! Sal, I'll have a beer in your name.

I remember lurking on here about a week after it started. It was pretty much just Wes, KC, Katshot, and HRS. I joined the party on January 18th.

It's been a lot of fun, very informative, and I've met some good people.

Cheers!

Things have came a long way since then. I bought my Eldy in December of 02 and was looking for a source of info that following month. The site is a great resource. Sal, you have done a great job.

Sal, Congrats on the 3 year anniversary. By traditional anniversary standards we have to get Sal goods made of leather and by modern standards crystal or glass. to you Sal and to everyone for making this place the great place it is.

Sweet. I wish I bought my Caddy 3 years ago. I would have been around from the start and perhaps become a mod which is something I would enjoy doing. Congrats to Cadillacforums.com on the success and I expect there will be many, many more to come!

We're up to, what, 36,000 members now? It would be interesting to see how many members were here at year 1 and 2! Then again, just think how this place will continue to grow in the future!

Well I got six months under my belt, I guess I'll feel like a true member after about a year.

As I recall, that's easy. Just go to the members list and resort by whatever column you want. What's a shame is doing that on the post quantity column. You see that the percentage of members who've posted more than once is rather small. That's common on these forums. A lot of people come and check it out but never come back. You end up with a huge membership number but it's very misleading.

I'd delete any account over a year old with no posts, if for no other reason than to free up that user name for someone else to use. I realize we couldn't claim 36,000 members, but we're lying about that anyway.

You know Sal I always wondered about the memory space available to allow reposts. Wouldn't it be nice to have some type of feature or alert that allows new members to search the forum before posting a thread? I also have posted new threads that have been posted before but if there where some type of direction showing me how to got to the archive section before I post a new thread, I just might help to reserve memory space(Not that you haven't thought about it). I'm not some corporate suck-up, but I was wondering if it's been considered? Cheers to all. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
