Dealer got my 06 STB in yesterday. I installed it about a half hour ago. It works nice with my hotchkis sways. Everything is tied down nice and stiff, I Def felt an improvement. I always have trouble posting pics, but I have some if anyone can post them for me. :cool2:

thats sounds hot. did it bolt right in? how about any clearnce issues with the hood liner?? I am really thinking about doing this mod.

yea it took like 10 minutes bolted right on. I have a 2004.5 so I have the indent in the hood liner for the bar already.

So for us with the 03' CTS, we would have to order the 06' hoodliner, and the strut brace?

We know the hood insulator is different. The engine cover looks the same but has it been lowered any? I think not as one member has installed the brace with no problems.

I have an early '04. It's a flat pad:mad: Since GMPD won't ship them, I'm not sure where I'll get one.

Did you try the dealer? They get large body panels shipped from GM all the time. I'll bet a hood insulator is no big deal. As soon as my dealer calls that my STB is in, I'll be ordering the pad from him (assuming he can get it).
