I got rid of my 97 SLS and got a 2000 SLS. I need to program new keyless fobs. Please tell me that there is an easy way of doing it without having to take it to a dealer or buying some diagnostic tools! Thanks! :cool2:

This link should help from what I just read you will need a scan tool unlike the 97 where you could go in the diagnostic mode. Maybe someone else could offer a little more info I'm kind of limited on the newer cars.

That is the stoy of my life. I wonder if I could buy a remote at Autozone and have them program. It has to be cheaper than doing it at the dealer. Thanks!

The car came with one remote but it did not work. Can you turn the RKE off in the vehicle settings? Just throwing some crap against the wall to see if it sticks.
