Someone so kind as to knock my RT Side door mirror off my car in the parking lot while at work. Half is still hanging there, now I need to replace it. Little hesitine about just pulling things apart - can anyone provide the knowledge on how the inside cover for the mirror assembly comes off. Sure it must just snap in place but I must not be doing something right as it wants to bend and doesn't seem to want to give. If I can get this off with out breaking it I will be half way home. Any advice or diagram would be most helpful.

three bolts hold the mirror onto the door. remove the door panel and you should be able to get to them.
