how do u reset the mpg on a 96 deville?

Select average MPG and then press the reset button.

I got another one. I used the search feature and couldn't find specific info on a 1992 Deville. How do you reset the oil meter?

I'm changing my own oil for the first time this weekend and want to do it right.

I know the answer for that is here somewhere too. If you put 1992 in your search try doing it without that.
