After reading threads here describing how to display codes on the dash, I gave it a try. Nothing. It did not work.

I have a 1998 Concours. I tried the method of turning the ignition to on, then pushing the HVAC "off" button and the passanger side temperature "lower" button. I also tried pushing the "off" button and the "info" button. Neither worked.

Are these the correct methods for a 1998? Is there something else I can try? Thanks.

I have 1998 DeVille, so we both have the same car (with few minor differences). To retrieve codes:
1) Turn the ignition "ON";
2) Press "OFF" and "WARMER" simultaneously and hold it for a few seconds;
3) When all IP cluster will light up release buttons.
4) Enjoy the show.

Ah, very good. I pushed "off" and "cooler". I will try "off" and "warmer". Thanks!
