Do a search. I'm pretty sure the 05 touch screen NAV works in the 03, you just need to have your VIN programmed into the 05 head unit by a Tech-2. Check ebay, that seems to be the place that most people get them from.

buy the eclipse AVN 5435 or 5495 way more features.... Just a sick system. It should also run you a lot less than the OEM nav.

Buy a Blue tooth GPS system for your handheld, or a handheld with the Nav bundle. They are way cheaper, VERY NICE, and you can take them with you in any car. I just recently purchased the Navigation BT bundle for my Samsung i730 phone/pocket pc, its sweet!

Ooo foshure, I'll post pics soon. Mine is an 02 (1 1/2 din), so it has sort of a custom look to it. 03+ should fit perfectly, da 5435 would be completely flush like stock.

ooO hell yeahhh... as long as you have the proper wiring harness you can juss plug and play. If you want your steering wheel controls and your stock bose components to continue to function, you can get the modules anywhere online and plug em in and there you have it. I had a shop do mine b/c of the fabrication and I wanted the extended 2 year warranty for dealer install. But damn mayn, it wasn't cheap, and I wouldn't tell any of yall to do da same if you can avoid it. $350 for da install!

I lost my steering controls when I had my alpine installed. The Bose and the Onstar still works but no control on the volume or the other functions. The guy who installed didnt mention anything about it. Is there a module out there for an Alpine in dash dvd player? The installer only got the module for the Bose and Onstar....

Wait. I'm confused. I have a 05 as well, and it came with my touch screen Nav. Why would you take out the stock Nav and place in an aftermarket unit?

Thanks.

YEah, the module is like one of dem universal ones, it should be able to work with any unit.

I have a few touchscreens that ive picked up off Craigslist. I also have some non-navigations as well that I got from the same guy. They're all 06's that will work from 2003-2006. I tested one of the touchscreen navs with my friends GMC and it works great! The manufactor logo (GMC, Cadillac, Chevrolet, etc.) shows up depending on what kind of vehicle you own. So if you own a Cadillac, the Cadillac logo will show up. Pretty neat!
