Just got my winter sport tires, but didn't have them mounted yet. got a 500 mile drive down to texas but here's my question. Is it bad to put the wintersports on before such a long road trip? i don't know if there's gunna be any inclement weather to need them but I'm not sure. Thanks for comments
I don't think you'll have an issue. Happy driving...

I have had the Dunlop Winter Sport tires for over a year now and I have no complaints. They should have a slight break-in period for a few hundred miles and your trip to Texas should cover that. Just hold down your speed and lay off the over 70 MPH romps! :tisk:

My coz has the new M3s on his E55 and they are awesome
I've had mine for over 1 year(winter use only) and you'll be fine. Jeff
Just talked with Myron Cottrell, owner of TPIS. There is eight inches of fresh snow in Minneapolis. Myron put Dunlop Winter Sports on his CTS-V: "She is a goat now in the snow; and it hooks up better on winter asphalt than it did last summer with oem tires."
