Does The Oil Cooler Effect The Oil Pressure Because I Have Just Recently Had My Oil Cooler Replaced And It Doesnt Overheat Any More But The Oil Pressure Really Changes From Down At The Bottom To Going Up To The Top When I Drive The Car Is This Normal Or Does The Car Still Have A Problem ??

The oil pressure rises as the rpm of the engine rises. So when it's idling, the pressure is low because the pump is turning slow. As long as it stays between the alarm points, don't be alarmed! If you're used to having just an idiot light to warn of low oil pressure I can see why you'd be a little nervous about the change in pressure. But it's normal.
So When The Engine Is At A Normal Temp. And The Car Is Sitting Ideling Its Normal For The Pressure To Be Low Then When I Drive It Goes Up Depending On How Much Gas I Give It.. If Thats Normal Great I Wasnt Sure If The Oil Cooler Had Anything To Do With The Pressure Or Not Am Still Not Sure The Oil Cooler Was Installed Properly
