It wouldn't keep me from buying an import 'cause I can't blame today's generation for what happened. But I don't accept any accusations or claims that we should not have declared war on them!

Some atrocities continued to be remembered. It may not be hatred but some see no reason to help them out buy supporting them. Look at all we have done after the wars to rebuild countries like Japan and look how they treat commerce to the United States.
They do everything they can to stiffel free trade with the U.S. They subsidize their manufacturers to insure profits and charge huge tariff penalties on our imports. How many U.S. automotive manufacturing plants in Japan? Hell the Chinese are more user friendly than Japan. We build Buicks in China. Japan was not kind to us in 1941 and they are not kind to us in 2005.
