I currently have a 02 ext black on 22s. I am into image. I am 36 years old, but have the mind of a 24 year old. I like to have the latest and greatest thing. I like BET, I like videos, I like big booties. Oh I am married too. I want to get rid of the ext cuz i dont want to have the old style. I did want a 300c, then i wanted a charger, those are now played out. The newest things coming out are. the 07 ext, the new lexus is 350, the new vette, the shelby gt 500 mustang. these are the cars i am considering. i dont need a truck, i just like the image, i dont need 4 wheel drive. i have a 93 geo metro as my daily driver. holy difference! and escalade and geo metro. anyway i like to stand out in the crowd, i like attention, i like to turn heads. what shall i do?

The GT500 or the IS would really stand out. I'd go with the IS personally.

I'm thinking about this myself...I love this.

:cool2:

The problem is my CTS lease expires in Oct '07. I'll want another luxury sport sedan to replace that, no doubt.

Depending upon how things work out, maybe I could get a Yellow 'Vette in '08. However, my wife might get a little crazy on me...

He SAID it was a daily driver; i wouldn't drive an EXT with 22s on it every day either...

Go with the Vette - the new Lades suck ass, and the IS350 doesn't even have a V8...The Vette V8 probably has better or matching gas mileage, and its a hell of a lot better engine...

I dont care if its his daily driver. You shoulda read this guys post when it came to the new escalade vs current escalade in the escalade forum! He said he must get rid of his 02 b/c driving an old version is "gross". But yet he drives a geo metro, I find that funny!

The important question is: A-are you gonna bling it for the posers, or B-you want to bling it for the real blingers.

Blinging it for the blingers would be something like a AMG CL 65. Where as blingin it for the posers would be something on big rims...BET style.

In other words do you want to impress people who really know their stuff, or just the people who are mesmerized by big chrome spinners.

Don't forget option C, which I think your geo would fall into: content with the knowedge that a car is transportation and the $35G's you put in your IRA in lieu of buying an 'image mobile' will be worth half a million by the time you retire.

Personally I struggle between option C and option B. Until I can bling it correct, I'd skip right over option A.

That said.....you know I love the IS350 and the 'vette  but that would be for personal contentment not really for image purposes....

I dont think the Lexus is for you, its a sensible car, in a sort of middle aged man who is trapped with no soul kind of way, if you have the choice of a sports car you are not going to put huge chrome wheels on and make look silly, go for the vette, if you want to be last years fashion (because trucks WILL die out SOON) get the new Escalade.

In the Lexus site catagory, look at the CTS. And particular the one that belongs to RobertCTS. That is a nice modified car, but it still looks classy.

The 61-69 Continental is beautifiul in a very elegant, subtle way. It is a timeless design.
The 75-79 Continental is beautifiul in a very gaudy, extravagant way. You can definetly tell this car was designed in the mid '70s.
