CVP33 12-05-05, 11:08 PM I saw that too over on the Vette forum. Sounds like pure evil. I'd hate to hear what Stage II and III sound like. Parker 12-05-05, 11:21 PM Lance is happy as hell. Glad to send him to you.:D homer403 12-05-05, 11:22 PM That is incredible  . Thanks for the vid. Luna. 12-05-05, 11:40 PM That car is running nice. The stock C6 Z06 that I saw dynoed at ~420 rwhp, which is about a 16% loss through the drivetrain (which seems reasonable). I'm willing to bet that Z06 is running a wee-bit more than 505 at the flywheel stock. :D Spyder 12-06-05, 06:46 PM Good good...could have done with a better background song though! :) CVP33 12-06-05, 06:59 PM That car is running nice. Welcome to the good ol' days. obzidian 12-07-05, 06:25 PM yeah, there underrated.... and that motor should make more than stock for a 427. It seems that the big ol'bowtie saved some for the aftermarket. Hell, my 408ci makes close to 600 crank hp with a ls6 manifold and a non-ported TB. (591 to be exact!) Thats with a smooth cam, 114 lsa, and still enough left to make well over 650 with the new et heads and a mor agressive cam spec. With a 90mm setup i should be well above 615 crank hp with my current cam. I absolutely love the sound of a camm'd ls-x motor through open exhaust...nothing short than the sound of the end of the world!!!!!! edit: Um yeah, this 408ci is in my 98 z28 conv....just realized that i dont have any info of it in my sig. DOH!! davesdeville 12-08-05, 04:49 AM I have a hard time they got an SAE certified rating of 505hp if the engine's actually producing more. I think they're very accurately rated. | |
