I've had a couple folks ask me for a photo of the caliper & tire mods, so I thought I'd take some shots & post them up. Here she is, got her 6 weeks ago; KDW2 255/35 tires, GM Optional Polished wheels, V mats, lacquer painted calipers, CF interior pieces .. I forgot to take pics of the amp & sub in the trunk, doh.

Looks awesome. Where did you get the interior trim from? I picked up mine from bdtrims.com for the Vette and it came out just like that. Really easy to install and they are great to deal with too. Even made me some custom pieces.

Really nice!!! (Say, are those "tens" and "twenties" sticking out of the console in the one pic? WOW!)

Nice job all around. Tasteful and understated. Those red calipers really look great! Who's spoiler are you using? Spectre?

I don't think the Spectre spoiler goes over the taillights.

The car looks killer though.

Yep they are 40's, brain fart, I had originally done my order with 35's and then changed it to the 40's to fill the wells a lil better, in writing the subj my mind skipped: they're 255/40R18's.

The spoiler isn't Spectre, I considered it but didn't think I'd like the fact that it's only on the trunk between the brake lights. Mine is from E&G Classics, from usspeedonline.

I'm surprised the attention the V gets, it's almost as bad as the viper I had, every other time you stop somewhere someone stops to ask about it & comment how Caddy is really kickin it up a notch .. to which I agree.

Thanks for the thumbs up, guys. I'm lovin this car - UUC from Lindsay next week & CAGS elim in the mail, that'll be very nice!

Decaf coffee & a valium to steady my nerves.:histeric:

Did it freehand, but I've had practice, this is the fifth set of calipers I've done over about 3 yrs so I kinda know what I can do & what I can mess up. The black V looks very cool in person thru the wheels.

Thanks.

Very sharp! The total look to your car is very subtle but yet it looks like it's ready to pounce on the next challenger.

Thanks! I was afraid the red calipers would be too strong, but went for it. I'm very happy with the look, & everyday I drive this thing I like it more & more. Never thought I could be happy with a silver car (I really prefer black), but it grew on me fast.
