Hey V guys ....Got a question ....In paragraph 3 (the rest is kinda a story)

Seems once i week i get the EXTREME privlage of bring a customer there V. Dureing my time behind the wheel Ive always treated the car as if i was the owner , waiting for my awesome car to be delivered to me. I would sure like to know the guy that brought it to me didnt beat it like a nerd reading his first playboy. Ive driven one VERY hard , found its limits ....It was a lemon buy back so no worrys guys...What a car ....

One customer , really nice guy has been haveing me bring his car to him after service off and on the past 2 months as the techs try to figure out whats wrong with the XM. He has told me that he doesnt care if i drive it reasonably hard. I still dont (ok i did merge on a little faster than normal).

Today me and the car are in nasty traffic . Traffic starts to move , 1rst gear , then i go to second .....ITS NOT THERE.....Then i remebered the CAGS , all the time i driven his car i never got bitten by CAGS . Im not familair with the parameters to get bitten by cags , im hopeing i havent been useing the car harder than needed ....Is it RPM driven ? or driven by throttle input ?

If i didnt have to pay for my college , id have one of these cars ....whata rocket

lol, if you have been driving it hard, you woulda gone into 2nd.

From my experience, at parking lot speeds, or accelerating very hard, you can go 1st to 2nd no prob. It's in between, that it makes you goto 1st to 4th.

I usually run into the CAGS problem when I am trapped behind slow starters. I instinctively try to shift at a lower speed to avoid keeping the engine at the higher RPM for an extended period of time, and bingo - I can't get into 2nd. The 1st-to-2nd lock out is, however, temporary and, if you try another couple of times, it will drop out of the lock-out and let you shift to 2nd. I should probably get one of the CAGS eliminators, but I just haven't gotten around to it.
