anyone know which book it is (helms, chiltons, haynes, etc). I am going to try to do some ofthe work myself and need one. Thanks

The factory shop manual is the best. They're always on eBay.

is that one just like the chiltons or helms in that it shows you step by step what to do? I am a very inexperienced mechanic, lol

It does go through step by step, but not in much detail. It's usually remove this, then that, etc..
But it does go through every part of the car, helps you to diagnose a lot of problems, and shows how to test the parts to see if they work.
