Well - thanks to everyone who helped. I've been looking and today got the deal on the 05 Lade I was looking for. Its brand new from the dealership and got a BARNSTORMER of a deal that made it a no brainer for me. It has the moonroof and Nav which were the features I really wanted.

Now I guess the mods will begin!

I'm ordering the Platinum grill and beverage holders this week...these were things I really wanted but I didn't end up getting a Platinum.

The truck has no DVD system and I have 4 kids so I have to add it. I haven't made up my mind with going with a 10" overhead or two headrest mounted. I'll put another drop down in the back.

The also confirmed that they can hook up video to the front nav screen and a back up camera no problem. Pics here:

Drove it for a while today and I'm very happy...

Who did the mods on your ram truck?

Who did the lowering as well (what did it run you?)?

I like the (CCW I think) wheels, sweet SRT!!

What mods did you put to get 1000? Is there a package deal? I am curious for a christmas gift..

Mods to the truck include a whole new bottom end with nitrited crank, forged rods and pistons, custom ported heads with oversized titatium valves and berilium seats, billet roller rocker setup, custom grind camshaft, bumped compression, paxton supercharger with upgraded fuel system and rails and chargecooling system. Other things too like race readied T56 6 speed tranny, cluch and flywheel.

The lowering kit is from a buddy of mine - his company is X-metal Engineering. All billet - very cool. I actually sell these kits on Ebay. The wheels are from a company called Boze Forged. They are two piece billet forgings. Very light...very strong. 22X10s
Now all I need is an inexpensive hobby...

Send me a link to your lowering kits. I may buy one if I don't sell this Viper Truck - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge-Viper-2004-DODGE-RAM-VIPER-TRUCK-SRT-10-3k-miles-2005-2006_W0QQitemZ4590853107QQcategoryZ6209QQssPageNam eZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I don't want to get in trouble in the forum and I'm not totally sure of the rules here yet so I don't want to post anything. Just search Ebay for SRT lowering kit and it will pop up! Hope you keep it!

How did you get your nav. to play dvd's?

17 off sticker. There is a chip that you can get that will allow you to use an AB switch and play vids. I also have them hooking up a backup camera that will be viewed through the nav screen...
