Kev 11-19-05, 10:53 PM That's really all there is to the idle re-learn. Now if you want to recalibrate the TPS that's a different story. Did you clean your throttle body? If you haven't done anything to the throttle body like cleaning or replace any parts in the vicinity the relearn probably wouldn't be much different. Is the engine running poorly? Why exactly are you doing the relearn? hogstamogsta 11-20-05, 08:12 AM yeah i did clean it and now when i idle at a stop only when it is in gear it will stall after about 30 secs, it used to only do it once in a while, now it does it at almost every stop hogstamogsta 11-20-05, 11:23 PM isnt there something with like letting it idle for 13 mins and playing wit the obd like the 4.9? Kev 11-20-05, 11:29 PM If you haven't made any mechanical adjustments to the TPS and only cleaned the throttle body then all that is necesarry for throttle relearn is to disconnect the neg bat cable as you have done. When you cleaned the throttle body did you also clean out the EGR tubes really well? hogstamogsta 11-21-05, 09:17 AM yes i did | |
