When the tempature is under 40 degrees, and I shift from 1-2 and from 2-3 it feels like the clutch is not drepressed all the way, but it is all the way down to the floor.
I can feel the gears messing together.

Do you think it is low on hydralic clutch fluid or it is a dealer problem?

I only have 8500 mi.on the car, and they have inslalled a new clutch ond pressure plate.

:welcome: I have had the same experience with my 2004 since day 1. After the tranny temp gets to about 70 deg no problem.

Same here. It was 25 degrees here yesterday and I only have 1500 miles on my V. Going into second took some time...

Check you clutch fluid! I've been having the same problem for a few weeks now. I just checked my clutch fluid for the first time and it was below the minimum mark and very dirty. What caused all this loss in fluid? My car has 18,000 miles on it.

The fluid level dropping in the reservoir is either clutch wear or a leak. My money is on clutch wear. ;)

I think you're right. I also do a lot of driving in heavy traffic. How much longer do you think it will last? Should I be looking for a new one? Thanks.

Are you supposed to check the clutch fluid level with the cap on or off? The plunger is pushing down and bringing the level up higher after it's put on. I finally got a chance to add some fluid and wanted to make sure it's right. Thanks.

I had a new cluth assembley put in after I saw the TSB on the clutch pedal stickink to the floor at 600rpm. I showed the to my dealer and the checked the numbers and changed the clutch and pressure plate.

It's only when the temp. is under 40 degrees.

It doesnt warm up untill you start driving it.
