I was thinking about putting a light under my hood and was wondering if anyone has done this yet. Does anyone have any cool ideas? Simple ideas?

It is pretty sad Cadillac left off so many things on a car that sells over 50 grand. Those little things go a long way to keeping customers coming back.
I would look in a junk yard for a GM one, wire it up.. simple enough.

If you get the lamp from a 1996 Impala SS it will fit nicely.. 2 rivits

I think you could wire it to any live power source you want. IIRC, the light from the ImpalaSS has a gravity switch in it.

I like jon idea, but I think I would use a mag light so it wouldn't be so noticeable. :cycle:

I like that light! The only thing is the magnet wont stick to out hood! :cool2:
