Indeed i could.

I dont need some of them. Some of them i want. And some of them i REALLY want.

I seldom drive the ESV, the Range Rover gets regular use, however, the Phaeton is used almost daily, the BMW is used by my son, the Mercedes is a Staurday car and the Seville is a Sunday car, the Vauxhall is a beater the Devilles are both used by my wife Claire, and the Buick is my new toy, i like it ALOT.

The Mercedes is special, black/black with that tremendous 6.0 V12, its so silent, unless you put it to the hammer.

I plan to get the restrictor removed if this is possible.

Mccombie,
When I was younger (5th-8th grade) I used to design skyscrapers and big mansions in graph paper notebooks. I really liked doing it designing the facades and floorplans. But when I found out that I couldn't be an architect, (because math is a weak point for me) That dream kind of died and I never did that again :(

What kind of buildings do you design? Industrial? Residential? Commercial?

Same thing just happened to my younger son..... He loves the whole idea of it, and they said his maths was too poor, hes 16, so he chose to do Photography, Graphis, English Language, and Film Studies.

I design all aspects off buildings, ive done alot of "finishing off" recently. Which is raelly just completing a desgin thats mid way through and it isnt cost effective to do a complete redo, so i jus tcomplete another guy's desgin, it isnt fun.

I work mainly in redevelopment, for example, there is a craze for Victorian Warehouse Conversions into partments and offices recently, i have completed alot of work for that king of thing.

I used to work for the local authoriy, designing new home for them. Four of my designs are still in circulation, every time they are reproduced i make a fee.

I also did some work for a deperment store recently. Rebuilding their facade. It paid well, and is much improved.

I stick my thumb in all sorts of pies, i have two technicians who do alot of minor work for me, like designing extensions for private homes etc.

Indeed it does, it covers the bills so to speak, my wife also brings in a decent income as a school principal. She retires in two years though.

I finally have my own offices, but before 1994/5 i didnt, i did some private work, but i worked within a firm, and previous to that the authority.

Uncle Craig, I want to be like you when I grow up. I am trying to get into the real estate business as well as the auto biz. I have so many ideas but not enough capital to get them off the ground. Hopefully this upcoming year that can change though. I know having financial freedom and security takes alot of stress away, doesn't it? So when you retire what are you and Aunt Claire :D going to do??

Financial security brings with ti ALOT of responsibility. Like, what do you do with the extra money.

Claire and I are going to buy an Aston Martin, take a rounf-the-world holiday, buy some houses abroad and take holidays regularly :D

We have plans to maybe buy in:

Florida
South of France
Scotland (a different place to where we already own)
Canada
Sweden/Norway

Some more nice cars, and thats abotu it, waiting for death......

I also plan to haev an active hand in the business long after i retire from it...

Maybe do some property investment such as yourslef.

Yeah I know it brings extra responsibility with it but as in my case, I would rest easier knowing I'm prepared for life and it's funny habit of throwing curveballs your way. Did you ever think as a teenager or a kid that you would have achieved your level of success so early. By that I mean, the average age of retirement here is probably 62 or 65 and steadily rising but, you have achieved this well over 2 decades before that age.

I~LUV~Caddys8792

Yeah, I would like to get into selling cars, and then do some side work, real estate investment, buying, fixing up and selling cars privately, or maybe I could start a auto brokerage or something. Like give people recommendations on what kind of car to buy and go along on test drives and give them advice and whatnot :)

I will not lie

I got lucky

I had no idea when i was 18 that this would happen so soon, i knew i wa son the up, i have never driven the old banger cars of my friends, my first car was a yaer old....

I worked thoguh, something that a younger generation DO NOT do as much, they still work, dont get me wrong,b tu when i was a student i held down three jobs as well as my studies.

I drove limos, i drove a delivery van and i worked in the coffee shop at the college.

In my youth, i married very young, i thought id be with my ex wife forever, it lasted little over a year....

I have very recently reached a figure i can retire on.

I hear you. I will be 25 in April. I already have 10 (well 9 actually) years in the workforce. I got my first job on Halloween of 96 and have been working since that date. My wife and I are doing ok now but it could be better. While being filthy rich would be nice I'd settle for being very finacially secure. I know I have 13 years to go before my kids reach driving age but I would lkie to already have the funds for cars set aside before they reach the teenage years. I would like to have their college education at least half paid for by the time they graduate. My wife calls me El Cheapo because I live with very minimum so my family will have what they need. But sometimes that gets old.Because I get angry when something I really want, I can't get it because I feel, I'm taking away from my family. That's why I applaud Stoney because he is making a move to follow his heart so that he can better himself.

And I compliment you for wanting to become an engineer. I'm in college for that right now; Mechanical, and general. To be honest, the hardest part about it is getting past the prerequisits. Then, if you have the knack, it's a piece of pie. This is my first semester, so, no, I haven't gotten past the prerequisits quite yet.

DopeStar156, I like your style.
