Any rubbing, I want to go as wide as possible on the stock rim in the rear?

Will, I wouldn't go larger than 275's on the stock 8.5 inch wheel. It'll be so big that your contact patch will be greatly reduced. Either have your wheels widened or buy another set.

I just got 275 35 19's on the back on my 19 x 8.5 rims. I would definately not suggest going any wider in the rear. I just put 245 40 19's on the front too (I have 19 x 8.5" rims at all 4 corners).

If you go 295's in the back, definately go with a 9.5 or 10" wide rear wheel. The rear 275's are a little stickier than my old 245 35 19's. The staggered tires look bad ass too; a little bulge in the rear...

are you lowered? did you roll the fenders? just wonder because I just picked up a set of staggered 19x8.5, 19x10 CCW SP600 :lildevil:

Specific tire sizes would be greatly appreciated!!!

IT will rub on big bumps with the 295's on the CCW's. Lowered it's really going to happen. Trust me

Will,
If you go anymore than 275s on the stock rim forget about turning the V, its not going to work. I'd hate to see what can happen at 1g with 295s on the stock rim.... I'm just picturing a rim-grinding de-beading nightmare.

275s are pushing it on the stock rims, but not insane...295s are just too wide without going to a wider wheel.

Thanks for the info. Ssmith100, thanks for the picture. I'm not sure I like the 295's in the rear. It looks like an off road vehicle. I'll go 275's they still fit under the fender.

The 295s make it look like it's gonna kick some ass.

WHAT ABOUT 285's...? Why havent those been discussed. They would fit on the 8.5 rim according to some people I have talked to. ANYONE HAVE FIRST HAND experience.

255/35's on 19X8.5 front. I think the gap is fine.

Shane,

Between the 295's and the Texas plates, your rear screams "Don't F with me!"

255's on 8.5 rims in front, eh? Hmmm...

Law,

All show and no go. I need a tune. I think over the Christmas holidays I'll send my PCM to Rick. Since adding the Volant tube to my Ling CAI I think I'm actually getting to much airflow now. My car actually feels slower with the Volant tube versus the stock tube. Go figure :bonkers:
