I live in Southwest orlando.... its about 30 mins away.

Im about 20minutes north of tampa near the clearwater area.

Welcome to the forum. I live over the Sothwest end of Orlando. My main office is in Riverview. Hopefuly another meet will happen here or there and maybe you can show off your ride in person. Read through and check out the mod possibilities. Its addictive!!!

Right click the pic of your car and click on Properties. A window will pop up and you will have to hightlight the URL and copy it. Click OK and than come here to the reply section. There is a little icon in a yellow box that looks like a mountain. Click on it and paste the URL and a pic will pop up.

It is nice to meet everyone...I hope there will be another meet in florida soon :( Sucks that I missed the last one, but I didnt know how to properly use these forums yet. If you guys have any idea when another one is coming up let me know!!

I went to the cadillac dealership to put an exhaust on my car....i wanted to put borla on but they said it would void my warranty!! So now my choices are B&B and corsa! Any suggestions???

B&B if you like a loud exhaust note. Corsa if you like a mild exhaust note. I put the CTS-V exhaust on mine and it sounds pretty good w/the Volant Intake. The V exhaust is a lot cheaper too. Got mine for $75 from a forum member on the V forum.

I missed the last meet too. I don't really venture to other parts of the forum and I found out about it to late.

No V's at the show. No new Impalas, Everymanufacture had limited cars there. Last year was much better.

I honestly never thought about putting a cts V exhaust on there....never came to mind... Yea i would def like to listen to the sound of the V exhaust! Can I put a V exhaust on a 3.2 tho?? I would doubt that it voids warranty, i dont see how it could... But my exhaust is my next project so I am hoping to come up with a conclusion soon...sucks have a single exhaust when u have a dual cut out in the back :( man i need an exhaust REAL SOON!!!

Not sur if the V exhaust will work on your 3.2 or not. I believe you can put the 3.6 on the 3.2 though. Start a new thread, thers may chime in on it that are not reading this thread.

Yes, the V exhaust bolts right up to your cats. The exhaust guy (and I do have an artist here) can change the tips of the front of the exhaust to match the cats. You will have to buy the three hangars for the left side and you will have to cut (this is the tuff part) an opening for the exhaust on the left side. The good news is several members have done this and have the template to make this easier, and details to take some of the anxiety out of the job. I'l bet if you look thru the threads you'll find someone who might even have a sound clip. Check with ODY,(Odysseus) I think he has an 03 with a system, he might have a clip.

I Will do some research on it..I have to take my car in anyway, they have to replace a semi torn rubber joint piece on my drive train. I will ask the technician if it will work...he would probably know for sure! Also what can I do?? Can I put an intake on my car before I install the exhaust?? I gotta save up some money for the exhaust but, could get the intake before the exhaust.. any suggestions??

Ask the dealer if they have an old V exhaust swapped for the Corsa or even a replaced 3.6 exhaust. I found mine at the dealer, it had 50 miles on it. They sold it to me for $100 cost $85 for the custom install, then sold my 3.6 piece to a member (INDO) for $50. Thanks to RobertCTS for the recommendation. Here's some pics.You'll just need the 3 hangers for the left side and since your cats are O2 sensored in front of the flange thats one less worry. The cut into your rear bumber is the tougher task. The sound really adds to the driving pleasure as I find myself lowering the windows just to here the car move through it's gear shift points. The 3.6 exhaust with some magnaflows might sound good as well. Lppk for some of the sound clips.

That exhaust is lookin good on your car man....I like it!! Yea, I will definately ask them about it and see what can be done. I just need to make sure I can do the swap. I already have a dual cut into the rear bottom. But I dont know if its going to be a perfect fit or if they will have to shave it or what not. But can I put an intake in before the exhaust?? Hmmmm...i would figure that u wouldnt want to put an intake in before exhaust, because where does all the extra air get pushed too??? Don't forget i only have the stock single exhaust...Maybe I can take that tonya off your hands for ya ;) would it work on a 3.2L tho??

I believe they are the same, but to be honest, I'm not sure. Hopefully some of our other members will read this, possibly even done this and let us know.

yea, hopefully someone will let me know on this!!! Also does anyone around here have a CTS - V?? I havent ridden in one yet..I want to feel the difference in mine and the V.. So if someone wants to take me for a test ride hahahha lemme kno!! I wanna feel the power of a V!

You don't want the TonyA intake. Get a Volant. You'll get a much higher gain. TonyA is good for about 3HP.

I wonder if a meet is going to be coming up anytime soon!! I am unhappy with my cts right now :( It soooooooo dosent sound right on shutdown either...there is like a rattle noise, almost like something is braced down properly, and i dont know what it is. Also there is a noise as I shift and get on the gas. I dont know, I dont even know where to begin in speaking with a representative. Plus the starting, + + + + + + grrrrrrrr I need like a whole engine and tranny or something!
