Been building a custom sound system for my sons 94 Seville STS and thought I would share some pictures of some custom speaker baffles I made for his front doors. The components are a Boston Pro 6.5 but pretty much any 6.5" speaker will fit with a tweeter or you could mount a 6.5" co-ax, 5.5" co-ax or a 5.5" component set. The front is curently being powered by the head unit, which is a Kenwood (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56211#) DVD 7015. This unit is perfect as it's double din and looks like it came from the factory (will post pictures tomorrow) and he has an Eclipse Aluminum 10" sub in a custom box powered by a Phoenix Gold Tantrum 300.2 bridged for 330 watts. He's going to upgrade to a PG 500.2 bridged to 540 watts and use the PG 300.2 for the front speakers. This system rocks and blows the Bose system out of the water.

Here's an update on the headunit my son had installed in his 94 Cadillac STS. This unit is amazing and it looks just like something that would come from the factory.

Did you run into any problem installing the head unit? I was talking to my friend at Stereo West (audiophile headquarters out here in the booneys) and he mentioned that it would be a tough sound system to mess with. But Im not sure he has much experience with this car.

On the pre 96 you won't have any problems if you are going to replace everything. If you want to retain the stock amps, you are going to have a minor problem of finding an adapter. It is 96 and up that the radio communicates with the main computer and you have to use an interface cable or completely rewire the stock headunit to the trunk.
