I got all of my stuff installed and figured I would give you guys some pics.
Here is what I put in:

Kenwood Excelon DDX8017 -- DVD Video InDash Unit
Kenwood KNA-DV4100 -- Navigation Unit
MTX 7801 -- Amp
MTX SLH-T7510X2-D-SUV Sledgehammer -- 2 10" Subs
Sirius Sat Radio
Ipod Interface

The Kenwood unit looks great (the pics dont really do it justice) the nav on it seems to be awesome from what I have used so far.

pretty legit... must be nice to have that iPod hardwired...I use the iTrip... way too much static. Hows the nav working?, has a real clean factory apperance... Cool truck! ! !

Nice work. I've thought about getting an IPOD hooked up to my Pioneer deck. However, without a user friendly interface to navigate through songs... I would think it would be a huge hassle to get the song you want. Maybe i'm wrong. I'm still considering it.

The ipod interface works fairly well... that would be the only thing that I would be a little dissapointed with. The sound quality is exceptional no static at all. The browsing could use a little work. You can browse by Artist,Album, Genre but its just a little slow do to the ipod. It definitely has room for improvement. But it still works good its all controlled through the deck.

As far as the Nav goes I have been using it more when driving just testing it out and I am extremly pleased!!! This might possibly be the best Navigation that I have seen... It is so fast!!!

Amazing install!Did you keep the OnStar and chime sounds? Also where is the Sirius Antenna? Is it visible?

Yes I still have the onstar and door chimes... I had to buy an adapter that was like $150 to make it work. I just placed the sirius antenna beside the XM one from the factory :bouncy:

Yes it is double din but since my escalade is a 2005 there was no shaving required.... 02 model year is the only ones that are din & a half I think.

so to put that head unit on the 02 dash you have to shave all around it?

Yes... Thats my understanding but I have never messed with an install on an 02 I just know that the 02 is 1 1/2 Din 03-up is double din.

I bought the box from http://www.mitekfactoryoutlet.com that is the MTX online store it was like $700 with the 2 10" 7500 subs the box is made especially for SUV's w/third row seating & you can only get it with 10's they also offer a 8500 & 9500 version with even more Bass but the 7500's I figured would be enough for me & it is!! the bass is so loud most of the time I only have the bass about 3/4 the way up on my gain!!!
