Well I love my CTS V and all of thge power it has but... I really want a drop top and I think I am going to trade up to an xlr. However I have been looking and not found any CTS-V's used for sale. I was wondering what you think the value of my Black Raven 04 with corsa exaust sunroof, black interior, and tinted windows would have with 38,000 miles. I really would like to hear what you think the value would be for a trade at a Cadillac dealership... My dealer over the phone claimed they we're not very interested in the car since they had several new ones on the lot. I was suprised because this car is an M5 killer, so what do ya think? Thanks guys! ! !

I was offered around $30,000 for my '04 with sunroof and 23,000 miles. Once I'm actually out of the car (probably around 27,000 miles or more) it'll be under $30,000 (wholesalers price).

word, expect no more than 30k trade in....if you're lucky....38k is a lot of miles for the old differential.

yup, expect 26-29 depending on your dealer and how desperate you are. These Vs arent holding value too well, and a lot of dealers still have inventory. THere is one in my town with a NEW 04 on the lot....yikes!

Ya... I noticed the value doesn't seem to be holding very well at all... As much as I love the car the dealer said they haven't had that much interest in them, and they are a pain to get off the lots. I would like to get at least 28 despite, a few cig burns in the interior, and the fact the passenger side of the car is keyed, how should that affect the value?

Lemme know how much the dealers give ya, maybe I'll match it or beat it... V's are expensive up here in Canada :(

I honestly believe it's the 6 speed that 's killing the resale. The fanatics love it, but the dealers don't.

You'll get nothing from a dealer for the mods. I check prices on my cars with Galves every couple of months. Checked last week and my V--a 2004 with 22,000 miles--was at $28,500. Adding $600 for the sunroof, the Galves price was $29,100.

Here in the New York metro area, most dealers use Galves as their Bible.

Doesn't Galves have the most pessimistic pricing?

Perhaps. But it's what the dealers around here use.

When I bought mine I figured it'd be worth around $25,000 - $27,000 after 2.5 years. There is a reason to buy American cars when they are 2.5 years old, they don't depreciate much from month 30 to month 45, they are still under warranty,

BUT I COULDN"T RESIST! I HAD TO HAVE ONE!

Broke my own rules. I like to drive cars for 18 months for free and then get a fresh one.
