Don't you just love it when people get emblems and make up new models? Take a look at this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-CADILLAC-BROUGHAM-60-SPECIAL-2-FLA-OWNERS-LOW-MILES_W0QQitemZ4584770016QQcategoryZ6149QQrdZ1QQcm dZViewItem

Nice car though :D

oh yeah i saw that. That is a very nice BROUGHAM! I wonder if the owner actually thinks its a Sixty-Special or if he just threw the badge on it to fool customers.

Probably a little of both. I do kinda of like the Brougham emblems under the Cadillac emblems on the sail panels.

Actually, according to MSN, there was a Fleetwood 60 special... 6 inches longer too than the standard model... http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/spec_Exterior.aspx?year=1988&make=Cadillac&model=Fleetwood&trimid=-1&src=VIP&tab=2&sub=4

Yeah there was a Fleetwood 60 Special but it's a front wheel drive car. Theres no such thing as a rear wheel drive 1988 Fleetwood. That black ebay car isn't even a D'Elegance it's just a normal brougham.

Hum I knew about the FWD model. I see a lot of dealer do these packages. I looked at an 90 Brougham one time. The guy trying to sell it to me said it was a special Desert Edition that came from the factory that way. That night i saw a news story on the guys here in Palm Springs that make the Desert Edtions for the local Cadillac dealers. So beware LOL

Hahahaha I sent him a message telling him how wrong his ass is!

"No such thing. In 1988 there was no Fleetwood 60 Special. The car you have listed here is a Brougham. The Sixty Special name came in 1991 and was a trim available on the front wheel drive model Fleetwood. The whole 6 inches of extra leg room is not true, if someone told you this they took you for a ride. The Fleetwood and Sixty Special emblems on that car were taken from a 1991-1993 model FWD Fleetwood and simply attached to this 88 RWD Brougham. I would make the appropriate corrections so no one hits you with a false description charge. Thanks."
