I went in to get some warranty work done and I was talking with the service guy and he said they got a pic from their cadillac rep and he took me back and showed me it. It ws just a photocopy so I couldnt get any pictures of it for you guys. But I gotta say it was ugly. NO side cladding, just a line down the side, kinda like the tahoe/yukon, front looked just like the 07 tahoe that was on here. It looked VERY much like a ford. The service guy even said it was pretty ugly lookin.

Anyways, he thinks its possibly a fake, cause it did show the 22's that were on it with 5 lug not 6. But he wasnt 100% that it was a fake. It actually resembled the pic of the 07 tahoe for the brochure, so it could have been a photochop or the actual escalade brochure picture to come. If this was really the new Lade, it will dissapoint a lot of people.

He also said they wont have any info on it until next year.

I have to go back to pick my car up, so I will try to get the pic so I can show you guys. But dont get your hopes up.

its probably fake and he's just BS'ing you. especially since everyone is going to have info on it next month when GM unveils it.

And maybe they don't want us to see the real deal until they sell some more 05's cause if everyone falls in love with 07's it will be very hard for them to get rid of the 05. I know I am waiting to see if I am going to buy a 07 or keep what I have.

I saw the Yukon pics are now on the GMC site... (Very nice I must say, the Denali, really looks like it has some Cadillac flare to it, in the roof rail and what not)... Anyword on when GM is going to release pics of the 2007 Escalade?

I was also at the dealers today and one of the salesmen had a picture.
He said they know nothing about the Escalades yet but, had a photo.
It was also a copy and definitely looked like a photoshop picture.
Don't know if it was anything like the picture you saw but it looked "exactly" like a Tahoe with an Escalade grill. That was the only differrence.
I've seen the exact photo of the Tahoe with the same body side molding.
Have to figure they're going to look similar but I doubt the Escalades will look that identical. At least I hope not.

My question is: Why are they utilizing displacement on demand but saying "Estimated city/highway mpg: Yukon 2WD 15/21, Yukon 4WD 15/20, Yukon Denali 13/19"? That's right off the GMC website. Though I like the new power numbers.

I have a feeling the Lades are gonna look like that, well the body at least. Damn, if so, I gotta say them rides looks weak. Reminds me of a Lincoln, Altezza taillights, what are they thinking?! They should of put some real crystal lookin LEDs like most of the new balla rides.

I'll bet the new design will be a little bit shocky at first, but will quickly gain favor with our market. When the current design was released I hated it right away. Gradually though, I came to like it better than the older style. I guess we'll see. ;)

Trust me, they've differentiated the Escalades from the other GM trucks even more than the current generation.

And it does not look like ass, I can assure you. I think most people will like it.
