Funny thing happened to me on the weekend. I parked my car (95 STS) and locked the doors as I got out. I realized I had forgotten something in the car and hit the unlock button on my remote. Nothing, it would not unlock my car. My remote seemed dead. I borrowed a battery from a friend and tried it again and again. I had to get a tow truck to break me in. Of course it set the alarm off but my remote wouldn't work to shut it off. I had to pull the fuse to shut off the alarm. I started it and drove away. When I parked it I tried again. It worked fine and has worked every time ever since. Does anyone know why this would happen or what I could try? I don't want to get stranded again someday or worse my girlfriend stuck out in the cold.
If anyone has any ideas thanks in advance.
