Good luck with the carburetor; they take a little practice but you'll definitely get it right once you see how simple it is :)

I work for GM, and in a room about 30ft away from me is where they keep all the service manuals for all GM veh's since the 30's.

My chic spent over $100 for my manual and now I found out that the GM people took a couple hundred manuals to Half-Priced Books and gave them away.

The carb is simple, I just can't get it tuned right. I've rebuilt it and tuned it enough to run, but the fuel delivery still isn't quite right. Plus, I've got a short in my sidemarker lamps, so the wiring diagrams'll be nice to have.
