:worship: Hello to All!

I just purchased a 1994 Eldorado in Japan. It has approx 56,000 miles and is in excellent condition - with one MAJOR flaw (to me). When I drove her home I noticed that the speedometer would not register the speed (the RPM gauge worked) and the cruise control did not work. Would anyone know the next step for me - I am mechanically inclined and can work my way around an engine. I am specifically looking to see if anyone has experience with this particular problem that can help. Or - is this a 'dealer only' thing?

_ALLRIGHT!!! - Thanks for all the help - it was the Speed sensor that needed to be replaced. I am glad for the Haynes manual - it helped out more than all the above 'replies' to my request. :mad:

Well, look at the bright side, now if anyone else has this problem, your solution may just help them out. Sorry we couldn't have been of more help though.
