hey tried searching which adapters are needed when installing an aftermarket headunit. Does anyone know the part numbers for these? Most important is the chime module since I won't be using the Bose system or Onstar.

Does your truck still have warning chimes and door chimes? Also can you still listen to your radio after you take your key out?

thats what that thing inthe picture does, its a small speaker for the chimes. i can't remember if it does keep playing after the key is out or not, i'll check next time i'm in it.

My aftermarket plugged right in to the factory. I think the bose speakers are great. No door chimes but those were annoying anyways.

same with my 99 lade. the problem is with these new headunits that control alot more things than just the speakers. :nono:

Hey Jeff I have Bose and Onstar but Bose system is getting ripped out do I get the GMAH24B and add GMAHCM? How does Pac compare to Metra system like the one stated above? Metra costs 100 bucks all in one..how much do you want for the pac adapters?
