looking to purchase anew ctsv. does anyone think the2006 will have the rear end problems of some of the others ctsv.

God I sure hope not. Two years of R&D in real world driving and who know's how many catastrophic failures were actually forwarded back to GM engineers for review. The STS-V 's rear is now our rear. So if we fail, they certainly fail with their higher HP/TQ and curb weight.

some people have them already.. I think the made a few then shut down to retool the line for the STS-v... So a few are out there, and they will begin normal production in mid november...

The 06 comes from the factory with an "improved" rear end that is a replacement part for and 04/05 v that has a failure.
