I've been told, when I signed for my new 2006 CTS that it would take 6-8 weeks...now 8 weeks have come and gone and they are telling me 2-3 more weeks. Did anyboby else ever had that problem with their caddy. :crying2:

I didn't order mine like you did but when you do, it's just a waiting game. Don't worry, it will be worth it.

I signed up for email updates through Cadillac. They sent me one email saying it was in transportation. My dealer told me eight weeks, but then got information that it would arive in five. Every other day I checked to see if it had arived, but to my disapointment, it took until Friday of the 9th week until I got it. Well worth the wait though!!!

I always do a dealer search first. I spec the car and the dealer looks for one. So far they've always found one exactly like I spec'ed. Just a few days and I have my new car.

:yup: There's nothing like ordering a car "exactly" as you want. The wait is a killer. Hang in there.

It took me 5 months to get my 06 in. I do realize they didn't actually start making them until some time in June, but my order (I won the car thru GM Hotbutton program) was put in the middle of April & I received the car the second week in September.

How much is the free costing you in tax's?

Remember when Opra gave away those G6's, half of those that got them could not afford to pay all the fedneral and state taxes that came with them.
