Hi!

When I start the caddy, there is a metallic sound that comes from the "can" just before the muffler tips. I looked at it and found out that there is the metal in the canister that is flipping up and down making this noise so that the N* sounds like a Diesel truck :-(

How should I solve this problem? Have anyone had similar problems?

sounds like (pun intended) your one or more exhaust baffles (the things that slow down the exhaust flow which reduces the noise when it exits the muffler) have broken loose inside the muffler - the only real way to fix it is to replace the muffler -

This is what i believed at first too. BUT, I can see the metal surface moving, and making these sounds.

When the car gets heated up the noise dissapears.
