I bought the luxury package on my CTS and am wondering what the difference between the Bose system and the regular/Base system is?

I know obviously the bose system is a name brand stereo, but does it sound that much different?

Also, is either one better to have when it comes to installing navigation system?

any input would be great!

read the thread labeled "which one" and it explains that upgrading to the nav is way easier from the bose system versus the base system. i have the bose system and very much love it. when getting in cars now it makes me realize how clear the high's and mids are in my car. i did, however, add an addition 12" sub in the rear for a little more bass...i can always turn it up or down depending on the mood. i haven't heard the base system, but i can't imagine it could compare to the bose.
