I had the light intermittantly a while back, it turned out to be the seat bottom on the passenger side. there is a pressure switch under the seat indicating whether or not there is someone in the seat. One way to tell is look at the rear view mirror and see if the passenger air bag is off when someone is in the seat. it the switch is bad you will get a light on the dash and the passenger airbag will be off with someone in the seat. The dealer couldn't find the problem until the seat bottom failed perminantly.:D I have an 05 and they should be close to the same. I hope this will help you troubleshoot your problem. SFS The 2003 CTS's do not have a passenger sensor. The air bag is always activated. If the light is on, you should take it to the dealer and have them fix it. easter9053 10-09-05, 03:14 AM Well. Now I have conflicting answers. I would like to try to check it myself if I can save a few bucks and a lot of time. Mike wrenchwiz.com 10-09-05, 03:19 AM Easter, you can save a few bucks. There's a complete troubleshooting diagram for your ES at www.wrenchwiz.com/cadillac.html (http://www.wrenchwiz.com/cadillac.html) . It cost you like 24.95 for your car but its cheaper than the 70.00 an hour at the shop. | |
