1st, don't drive it until it is fixed, you can burn up your exhaust valves that way. Seems to me you have two possible choices.

1. Check with the salvage yards in your area. Here in the states we have yards that are 'networked', if one doesn't have the part you need they can check around the country to find it and have it shipped over. Not sure if that is an option in Canada?

2. Remove the manifold and thake it to a good machine shop to see if it is possible to repare it. Some cast iron manifolds can be welded and placed back into service.

Go to your local wrecking yard and ask for them to put it out on the wire. They do network in Canada. This manifold is unique to E-K body cars.

Whoever told you that a manifold from a Riviera will fit is one to stay away from. V-6 vs V-8. LOL!

Where in southern Ontario are you? I have a few exhaust manifolds from a 4.9 (both L & R) may have a pair also from a 4.1. I am in Sudbury area but manifolds are in Orillia.

Chris,

I see you frequent Guelph as well as Sudbury. I am in Kitchener, you know just down the road.

I had a crack in my exhaust manifold. Anyways I thought to myself "That's a pretty bad crack. I'll bet that if I dropped this on the ground it would break right in half."

So I dropped it from about 4 feet....

Guess I should change my profile a bit. We moved from Guelph last may. I used to drive back and forth to Wloo daily. Miss that area. much different landscape than up here.
