My mother has a 1997 El Dorado with Bose tape / radio in the dash with a cd changer in the trunk that she never uses. I have a 1996 Seville with what appears to be the identical radio in the dash. Can I move the cd changer to my car and use my radio to control it like in the 1997? Any idea how involved this would be if possible?

Look in your trunk for a factory plug for a cd changer... Pull hers out and plug it up, won't hurt to try right.. lol As long as you have the connector in your trunk it should work fine.. good luck.. I'm looking for a changer for my 96' STS! Last owner threw it away cuz it "quit" working..... :thepan:
