I did a search but could not find anything! Does anyone know if there is a performance torque converter for our cars that we can use from another GM vehicle...Many ppl say that the cateras and the GTO is compatible with some parts, cuz its somewhat of a similar platform from what ive heard.. Anyways any info would be great.. Thanx guys :cool2:

The Catera uses a 4L30E, the GTO used the 4L65E. Completely different transmissions.

The 4L30E mainly came in base model BMW's, I can't find anything performance related to this transmission.

Why didn't GM give us the option of the Opel Omega 5spd in the Catera:helpless:
