Well, if one were to go by posts per day, then I'd have to say Sir McCombie has already surpased Sir Ralph!

Thanks guys. I'm in and out lately, running in stealth mode. So much to do and so little time. I am now just calling it a day (12 hours is enough, though it's a light shift compared to what I've been doing).

I can keep up with the best fo them, im overtaking people that have been here three times as long as me :)

As for the 12 hour days Kev, try and take it a bit slower, this kind of thing leadds to heart attacks, dont overwork yourself wherever possible, i work alot when i do, bur in between i have long breaks, I know how hard it especially if its your own business, but be careful.

Thanks Mac! It's tough, especially in the beginning. I'm in the 2nd quarter of my fourth year now and have a ways to go before I can breath easy. I have certainly learned a great deal in these last few years! :bonkers::bighead::yup:

TFT Monitors are flastscreen essentially.

My old one is very weighty, and makes a high pitchedringing when on, so it was time to replace.

At least they are getting cheaper. I have a "Certified Data" 17 in. and they aren't light. My Dad wants to buy a large plasma tv for watching games, etc. but I thought plasma was not good for fast-paced sporting events because there is a delay or somrthing? Do you know about that? And what's LCD compared to plasma, which is better?

The relay speed of the TV is slower, the larger it is i believe, i have a rear projection 42" TV in my TV room, which i think is perfect for sports, plasma also has age issues, after 8 years or so the plasma goes past its optimum age and leads to reduced wuality.

LCD ( i also belive) is onyl available on smaller Tvs, (15 inches or so)

I would consider rear projection or plasma if hes going BIG, i prefer rear projection, and thus i bought one.

My monitor cost £500 about 6 months ago. WHich is expensive but it will last.

Hmmm. I think he said he would like a 42 as well. And he only buys Sony. But if you go to sony's website, they don't list plasma tv's that we could find.

plasma sucks for football games ....but slow moving fish never looked so good ...

so ask which is more important , football (american football) or something you can buy a 100 dollar fishtank and accomplish the same thing ...

yah , you know football is more important .....now if plasma brings out even more beauty in eva longoria then sign me up ....cuz i might put off football to watch her

In Canuck football, we are only allowed 3 downs to move the ball 10 yards, so I've heard people say that it makes for a more intense game compared to American football. ;) Football and hockey would be most important to him..

Eva isn't too shabby, but I sure fell for Jessica Alba after seeing her in "Sin City" Here are pics of each....yours first...(may as well enjoy pics while we can) You like your dark-haired and I like my blondes..
