I got an all Black '93 STS. The Vin 9 Northstar has a loud rod knock. ( Lost oil) ..... I always wanted this car, and I will learn a lot about this car, by swapping engines! The car seems in fairly perfect condition! I got a good-used exact year/model engine for $1,750, and I keep the orginal. I plan on building the orginal engine, then dropping it back into the beast. I live near Oceanside, Ca., and I'm surrounded by Northstar Hot Rod shops!

I think the 18" chrome wheels are stock Cadillac?

The transmission is 2 years old.

I hope to have it running in a month.

Those wheels look aftermarket, or Mercedes Benz. I think the largest wheel size you could get in that era was 16". I don't think any STS even had 17" up til 2001. My 2000 STS had 16", but now has 2002 DTS 17"s on it.
