I know that this is probably somewhere else in the forum but I can t sem to find it. I need to Decode my VIN of The 74 Sedan Deville VIN # 6D49R4Q255949 I was told it was a 500 CID motor I can't Seem to find a decoder Also is there a way to look on engine to see.

Could I be pointed in right direction? Thanks

A '74 SDV will not have a 500 cube engine unless someone has swapped one in there. Should have a 472. Might have a super duper secret camshaft depending on whom you ask.

I was kindof wondering being that I got it cheap. :hmm: It doesn't take much to convert to 500 if I wanted.

What would determain a "Super Duper Secret Cam"?
