You have an STS which only came with the 300HP @ motor. The Eldorado came with the 275HP or the 300HP motor. The SLS came with the 275HP.

We with the Eldos look at the 8th alphanumeric in the vin code. A "Y" is 275HP, a "9" is 300HP. Your STS should have a "9".

Even if you didnt have the vin 9 engine, 275hp is no slouch. Actually more tourqe with the vin y engine.

I would be happy with an STS if I could have bought one but I have the SLS which I still love. The car is a dream, 25 more horse, I wouldn't care.
