Actually when I looked it up and called the dealership they said they were made by AC Delco
true General Motors
From the manufacturer
ACDelco is the true General Motors Original Equipment parts brand, infusing a century of experience, innovation and quality into more than 90,000 GM OE and other parts.
AC Delco - a combination of Albert Champion and Dayton Engineering Laboratories COmpany.
Some "AC Delco" shocks are made buy Gabriel, some by Monroe.
AC Delco is the parts sourcing and contract arm of GM. They actually manufacture very, very little here any more. GM parts are contracted from hundreds of manufacturers worldwide. Read the fine print on the bags/boxes. AC Delco specifies - they no longer manufacture to a great extent.
Examples are "AC Delco" spark plugs made in Japan by DENSO and NGK, and these parts for my STS - look at the countries of origin on the bags. Many fasteners come from AuVeCo - Google it.
