ARTSBEST 09-21-05, 12:58 PM Is that the performance model with 18" tires and all? STSOnly 09-26-05, 01:04 AM That car kills the 2000-2005 DTS. At first, I didn't like the '06. I hated the front end, the rear, the seats, the steering wheel, etc. But the more I look at this car, the more I like it. The media pics don't do this car justice. The red exterior really looks sharp and it blends in well with the tail lamps. megeebee 09-26-05, 01:05 PM man i love that car! you know... the more you look at the back end, and maybe it was the picture or something but it kinda slopes like the late 70s model Devilles. has anyone noticed that? and it almost kinda sorta has small fins. maybe im just going crazy. ...you're right! It does have a lot of that character. I think it's in large part because this is the first full size (domestic) Cadillac since 1972 where the rear licence plate is mounted low near the bottom of the bumper rather than accross the top of it. And the first since 1977 that the license has NOT been framed by tall rectangular back-up lights. The prominent crease down the center of the deck lid and then down through to the bumper reminds me a little of the '67- '70 Eldorado. The more real-world photos I see of this car, the more I like it (I haven't seen on in person yet). | |
