I am planning on swapping the fuel injectors in my 1990 Allante. A number of members of this board advocate using Accel and/or Bosch fuel injectors from the 4.6l Fords. I am all about finding alternative part sources for my car! Allante are a pain in the ass to find parts for. However, after a researching the issue, I have believe that the Allante may use a different fuel rail, and possibly a different intake manifold than the other 4.5l Cadillacs.

1. So my question is this, does anyone know if the Accel and Bosch fuel injectors will physically fit into an Allante.

2. Also, does anyone know where I can find out what the exact differences between the Allante 4.5l and the other Cadillac 4.5l engines?

As always your help would be greatly appreciated.

I am guessing yes, most injectors (other than Toyota) are interchangeable around that timeframe.
